This site is part of a larger project I’m working on for the NSW Department of Industry for the Bushfood Sensations website, which is undergoing a major overhaul and redesign. This event site is a special purpose site for the BLAK to Bush Popup Dinner – a fundraising event on 5 March at Bare Island in Sydney. Clayton Donovan (ABC’s Wild Kitchen), will be presenting his delicious native infused food. Having been lucky enough to sample Clayton’s food at a Back Alley Gallery event here in Lismore last year, I know that it will be delicious! The BLAK Markets on 6 March are also part of the activities over the weekend. This site will grow as other events are organised.
Whilst I’ve known about this site for a week or so, not all information was available until a day ago. That meant a very quick turnaround and even though the core setup of domain (an essential element!), WordPress and Eventbrite had been completed, the site itself (ie design, customisation, content, testing, etc) needed to be finished quickly and was turned around in 24 hours!
